Progress report for week of April 8, 2024!
Hello everyone: Another great week of volunteers and progress. Both of the homes that have been started got trusses installed and enough sheeting to hold them in place on Saturday along with more blue board installed, I believe all of the cement board is on and the walls for house three were started.
Tuesday the sheeting on the first home was finished and more was put on the second home also backers were installed in the kitchen aera for the cupboards, drywall backing was started and more blue board was installed.
Thursday, weather providing we will continue with sheeting, sub-fascia, house wrap, and drywall backers. I don't think we will have time for windows and doors or siding, but it could happen.
The sheeting and sub-fascia need to be finished this week as roofers are lined up for the first of next week to install shingles.
If we can't find anything else to do we could always start moving trailers across the street so we can start getting house 3 started.
