Sister Patty Rinn

My name is Sister Patty Rinn. I am a native Nebraskan, born and raised in Omaha, the second youngest of six children born to Louise and John Rinn. After graduating from Cathedral High School in 1966, I entered the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, a community of Catholic Sisters committed to preaching and teaching the Gospel. I had the privilege of serving in Elementary Schools in Iowa, California, Illinois, and Nebraska both as a teacher and principal for close to twenty years, before serving in Pastoral ministry in Catholic parishes in Illinois and Nebraska. I love being a full time Pastoral Minister at St. James Catholic Church here in Kearney, and enjoy serving on the Kearney Area Habitat For Humanity Board. Habitat is a wonderful community of people who gather to work hard, and enjoy the adventure of building decent, affordable homes for God's people in need. I look forward to another KAHFH Building Season!
