Renae Zimmer

Renae Zimmer was born in Denison, Iowa to Myron and Diane Riddle. Renae's family moved to Hartington when she was in kindergarten. Her dad was the high school principal at Hartington Public Schools.

Renae graduated from HPS in 1987 and went to college at Kearney State College (now UNK) where she received a degree in Marketing and Public relations with a a minor in Journalism. Renae works for Five Nines Technology in Kearney as a senior account executive and also writes for Her View from Home.

Renae is active in PEO, First Lutheran Church, Junior Achievement, the Kearney Chamber and now Habitat for Humanity. She also co-founded the LOSS Team of Central Nebraska a Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors after her brother's death in April of 2014.

Renae's husband Dave is a teacher and coach at Sunrise Middle School and also a public speaker and launched his website. Their two kids, Nolan's a senior at NW Missouri State University is a track and cross country runner where he earned all regional honors and their daughter, Kamryn, is a senior at Kearney High and will attend NW Missouri State in Maryville this Fall.

They have two pets: a lab named Sadie and cat named Charolotte. Soon to be empty nesters, Dave and Renae look forward to more travel and more golf.
