2015 Marlatt Subdivision Groundbreaking
2015 the Marlatt Subdivision broke ground. It consists of 9 acres and will provide enough land to build houses for years to come. It is named after Jerry and Edith Marlatt, long time volunteers and part of the original founders of the Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity.

Elaine Wilcox
Elaine Wilcox volunteered to serve food for the volunteers. Eventually, the food shack was named in her honor, Elaine's food shack. Her legacy provided the trailer that the food is served from every Saturday build day, as well as, the Wilcox Equipment and Scholarship fund. These funds help the eligible children of the homewoners go to college and help get much needed equipment for the work sites.

Jim Fudge
Jim Fudge was involved with many aspects of Habitat. From helping build houses, to keeping the lawn mowed on the properties KAHFH owned until the home for that property was built. He knew how to fix anything. His legacy provides the Jim Fudge tool kit to every homeowner at their dedications to help them maintain their homes.
