I grew up on a farm outside of Pierce, NE. I loved living in the country, and I am grateful to my parents for teaching me the value of faith, family, and hard work.
I studied Spanish education at UNK and was fortunate to study abroad in Peru my junior year. I graduated in 2013 and moved to Ainsworth for my first year of teaching. I got married the following summer and moved to Kearney with Marshall. We both currently teach Spanish at Kearney High School.
I started helping with Habitat in college but became more involved recently after moving back. I am very excited to be back and help build and serve on the board.
