Father Christopher Morris grew up in Kansas, and has been blessed to be the priest of the wonderful congregation of St. George Orthodox Church since 2006. Besides the busy life of a pastor, he enjoys doing historical research on the local Syrian-Lebanese community who fled religious persecution in their homeland in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to make a new home here in central Nebraska.

Mostly, though, he spends much time with his wife Anastasia trying to keep up with their four young, energetic children. Father Christopher is excited to work with the many wonderful board members and volunteers who strive to live the gospel by serving the Kearney community through Habitat.
