Charlie Pickens
Charlie Pickens was raised in Oklahoma where he earned his B.S., M.S. and PH.D. in mathematics education. He taught mathematics at the University of Nebraska, Kearney campus, from 1960 until he retired in 2001. While at UNK, he served as department chair, department advisor and mentor. Charlie serves on many committees in the Kearney area and is the treasurer for Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity where he continues to volunteer today. He is the contact person for the KAHFH can drive.
