Bill Wright
Born in Des Moines Iowa. Undergraduate degree in Chinese from the University of Iowa in 1970. US Army officer from 1970 to 1974. Law degree from the Univeristy of Nebraska in 1977. Practiced law as a trial attorney from 1977 to 1986 with Parker, Grossart, Bahensky and Wright from 1986 to 2007 with Jacobsen, Orr, Nelson, Wright and Lindstrom. Served as a District Judge of the 9th Judicial District from 2007 to 2018. Divorced. Two grown children. Been volunteering off and on with Kearney Habitat since 1994.
