Beth Forbess
It has been fifteen years since Gary and I moved to Kearney, years of new friends and new experiences. In 2018 we sold the Marlatt Machine Shop and began to travel. We are still members of First Lutheran Church and with dozens of other members support Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity. Along with serving as the Board Secretary, I also volunteer for Hospitality wherever needed. Jubilee Center is also a major interest for me as I do a few hours of bookkeeping for it on a weekly basis.
What identifies these community services? They are made up of people who like being involved in these projects and enjoy working with each other. They have great support and take pride in what they have accomplished for Kearney. Kearney – it’s a great place to live.
